this time with your kids is so important
maternity, fresh 48, newborn, milestone and family sessions
Why these certain niches of photography? Family means a lot to me. I am always with my husband and my girls. When I'm not, I miss them even though someone will get on my nerves the second I walk back through the door. That's not the only reason though, speaking as a mama, I think a lot of times our moments with our loved ones, especially our babies is overlooked. No one is taking those pictures of us that we make sure we get of them. You want "un-posed" natural interaction? I'm your girl!
It feels like you blink and another year passes, the kids are taller, more grey hairs pop up, wrinkles begin to appear. The memories fade in our minds as time goes on. Your photos will always be there, helping you to relive these precious moments.
What I do
01.
Maternity
Where it all begins; the bump. I love maternity sessions because all expecting mamas deserve to feel beautiful during this time because they ARE beautiful. You are growing one or more babies from scratch.
02.
Newborn
Those sweet days that we often forget because we are sleep deprived and adjusting to being a whole new family. These are moments you'll treasure forever and always look back on to admire.
03.
Fresh 48
Documenting those first hours of your baby's life is never a bad idea. They are new and wrinkly. Their newborn scent takes over every time you pick them up. It's real & raw and it's what we live for.
04.
Family
My first and only rule is: Don't look at me and smile unless I ask. These sessions are for family interaction. They capture the love/hate relationship of siblings. Airplane rides, for dad, snuggles from mom, maybe even tears from a toddler or teenager who doesn't want to be there. We want your beautiful family to show up and be themselves.
Why hire a photographer?
this time with your kids is so important
It is so so worth it! Yes, we all have a camera in our pocket or purse but it truly is not the same. I've educated myself and invested thousands of dollars in courses to learn about equipment and editing, as well as, posing and lighting to be able to give you and your family the beautiful wall-worthy images that everyone deserves. I always take out my phone and get a picture of my kids but it's never one that is good enough quality that I can print it a 16x20 and hang it on my wall.
